Life isn't fair?
Surely most of mankind has thought that life is not fair. I am no exception, I have felt that life is unfair! I think that only some people can feel the beauty of life, only some people born on earth can feel the sweetness of love and compassion.
But, before we get deeper into our discussion this time. I will give reasons why people think that life is unfair (from my point of view of course)
In my opinion, usually, such assumptions arise based on a sense of hopelessness and disappointment with ourselves or even for others who we consider responsible for our lives (usually parents).
But there is one habit that most people like this do.
The habit of comparing yourself with others is what makes people feel that life is not fair. When a person compares himself to others. So all the efforts he has made, all the things he has sacrificed, and no matter how much time he has spent will feel in vain, he will not be able to appreciate all of that because he has made other people a "benchmark" of success. This habit without us knowing it slowly erodes our self-esteem. Mental health counselors also agree that this bad habit can erode one's self-esteem
because with this habit, the conscious nature automatically confirms the benchmarks we have made, where the benchmark is the success or achievement of others. Thus, we will never be able to accept ourselves because we have imprisoned ourselves with the habit of comparing ourselves with others, or in other words, we are no longer self-oriented.
Thinking that life is unfair is human because this is human nature as a creature endowed with ego and lust. However, we need to know that we are not slaves of ego and lust that must follow all its orders.
Have we ever prayed that we would become someone great and strong? I think we've all prayed a similar prayer.
But, does God directly make us great and strong? I do not think so. Sometimes we complain when we have a test. However, it could be God's answer to the prayers we keep on praying. Does God send down trials with the intention of seeing us suffer and feel sorry for being born in this world? Certainly not!
He wants to guide us through various kinds of trials. There is no way to become great and strong except through the trials and tests that He gives. However, we must understand that God is the justest. He always sends down trials and their solutions. What a beautiful package that God has given us.
Finally, if I may answer the question "How can we feel that life is fair?"
I would answer out loud "Stop comparing yourself to others and start focusing on improving your own life"
That is all and thank you
