We cannot question the existence of God?

 I will discuss the topic above. Everything I will discuss below is purely personal opinion and the result of my own thoughts without any intent to demean or offend any party.

It all started with the arrival of a college student at my school to complete the program from her campus. A short story he entered the class and while introducing himself and displaying his meaning and purpose came to my class. After some time, he began to present material from the study program he was traveling on campus. Until it comes to the discussion of philosophy. There is an argument from him that to this day still lingers in my memory. It sounds like this "When a person studies philosophy, he will tend to question many things. However, when he questions God he must stop. Because we cannot rationalize God."

Now I will discuss the last two sentences of the student's sister's argument.

However, before I discuss the last two sentences of that piece of argument. Ideally, we should understand the meaning of philosophy first

Quoting from Wikipedia, Philosophy consists of two words

"Philo" means wisdom and "Sophia" means love.

Literally, philosophy means love of philosophy.

I am quite surprised why many clash philosophy with religion as if philosophy is a parallel path to a betrayal of religion. Even though religion also teaches love and wisdom. Philosophically all this time, without us realizing it. We have philosophized. Masya Allah.

So, why do we still hate something that we have been doing unconsciously all this time? That is the importance of understanding something before judging.

All right, I'll discuss the last two sentences of the argument.

He said we cannot question God or in other words, we cannot rationalize God.

In my opinion, it is only valid when someone believes in everything. God is no exception. In philosophizing, we must think radically. Citing the book (Philosophy of Law) by Abdul Ghofur Ansari

The word radical comes from the word "radix" which means root. So that meaningful radical thinking reaches the root of a problem, Deep to its root, even beyond the limits of existing physical boundaries, enters the field of description beyond something physical.

In philosophy, one seeks and finds the answer not just by showing the appearance (appearance) alone, but by tracing it far behind the appearance to determine something called the value of reality.

So, in my opinion. There are no limits and prohibitions in philosophizing. because philosophy is involving the art of radical thinking.

Another is when we use the reach of our mind to the maximum. Isn't that one form of our gratitude to God for giving us the ability to think?

Hidup Memang Tidak Adil (!/?)

Pasti sebagian besar dari umat manusia pernah beranggapan bahwa hidup ini tidak adil. Tak terkecuali saya, Saya pernah merasa hidup ini tidak adil! Saya beranggapan bahwa hanya sebagian orang yang dapat merasakan indahnya hidup, hanya sebagian orang yang terlahir di muka bumi yang dapat merasakan manisnya cinta dan kasih. Kita Tidak Boleh Mempertanyakan Tuhan?

Semua berawal dari kedatangan seorang mahasiswi di sekolah saya dalam rangka menyelesaikan program dari kampusnya. Singkat cerita ia memasuki kelas dan sembari memperkenalkan diri dan memaparkan maksud dan tujuan nya datang di kelas saya. Selang beberapa waktu, ia mulai memaparkan materi sesuai dengan program studi yang sedang ia tempuh di kampusnya. Hingga tiba pada pembahasan mengenai filsafat.
